Jack Leung is an artist from Hong Kong. Coming to America at 16 to study art after the 2019 Hong Kong protests, he began questioning what justice is and how authoritarianism harms society. Since then, his work echoes with suffering and seeks to support the marginalized who have been pushed to the bottom of society. His topic surrounds trauma and scarring memories from political events, from what he and others have gone through.

Using wires, Jack creates sculptures that are both translucent and abrasive, bringing the insubstantial yet omnipresent pain associated with past torment into reality. His work created this "unseen" illusion from a distance, portraying his awareness of suffering and trauma. Jack uses endless wires to tangle into chaos, forming the agony of our time.
